Born and raised near Crenshaw in Los Angeles; moved away at age 12 and returned to get bachelors at USC (1976). Left California for radio and TV news career in Hobbs, New Mexico (near Roswell). Masters degree in Educational Technology: the George Washington University (1998). Now work at/live near the University of St. francis, Joliet, IL. Married to Margo: 2 kids, one college and one high school.
